Research
Associate Dean of Research for Camberwell, Chelsea and Wimbledon - Professor Oriana Baddeley
Research and Postgraduate activities and courses at Camberwell, Chelsea and Wimbledon Colleges collectively form the CCW Graduate School. High-quality research among students and staff is an important aspect of learning at all our colleges. We have a community of staff, postgraduate and research students working across a wide range of subjects and themes creating a rich intellectual environment. We are particularly interested in research that address either individually or in tandem, the current Graduate School themes: Social Engagement; Climate Change; Identity; Technologies.
Research lies at the heart of the new Graduate School, linking the distinct activities of the three colleges together. Our research activities are diverse and range across the many subjects represented by our taught course programmes while frequently offering new ways of thinking about how specific disciplines can share concerns and questions. Issues in the practice and historical context of Fine Art, Design, Conservation, Theatre and Performance are all explored through focused research and debates of contemporary relevance and impact.
